Terms of Service
Last updated: 8 June 2026
These Terms are provided for website publication purposes and should be reviewed by a qualified UAE legal advisor before use. TaxApp is software and does not provide legal, tax, accounting, audit, or financial advice.
1. About TaxApp
TaxApp is an online software service that helps UAE businesses organize invoices, receipts, statements, transaction records, and related documents for tax preparation workflows, including VAT and Corporate Tax preparation.
2. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing our website, creating an account, starting a trial, purchasing a plan, or using TaxApp, you agree to these Terms. If you use TaxApp on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that company.
3. No professional advice
TaxApp supports document organization, data extraction, missing invoice detection, reminders, summaries, and preparation workflows. TaxApp does not replace a licensed tax agent, accountant, auditor, lawyer, or financial advisor. You remain responsible for reviewing all records and outputs, confirming their accuracy, keeping required records, meeting deadlines, and submitting filings correctly.
4. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate account and billing information and keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or misuse.
5. Permitted use
You may use TaxApp only for lawful business purposes. You must not misuse the Service, upload harmful code, attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer the Service, access another user's account, use the Service for fraudulent or misleading activity, or rely on TaxApp outputs without appropriate review.
6. Customer content
You retain ownership of documents and data that you upload to TaxApp. You grant TaxApp a limited right to host, process, transmit, analyze, display, and store your content as necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Service.
7. Accuracy of outputs
TaxApp may use automation and artificial intelligence. Outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for your particular circumstances. You are responsible for checking all extracted data, classifications, VAT summaries, Corporate Tax reports, missing invoice alerts, and other outputs before relying on them.
8. Subscriptions, trials, and payment
Plan features, prices, free trial periods, billing cycles, and renewal terms are shown on our website or checkout page. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You authorize TaxApp or its payment provider to charge applicable fees and taxes using your selected payment method.
9. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription using the account tools available to you or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically create a refund unless required by law or stated in our Refund Policy.
10. Third-party services
TaxApp may connect with third-party services such as payment processors, email tools, cloud hosting, analytics, or accounting-related integrations. These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their availability, acts, omissions, or data handling.
11. Service availability
We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure access. We may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue parts of the Service for operational, security, legal, or business reasons.
12. Intellectual property
TaxApp, including its software, design, branding, workflows, text, templates, graphics, and technology, is owned by TaxApp or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TaxApp will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, filing penalties, tax assessments, or business interruption. TaxApp’s total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid to TaxApp for the Service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify TaxApp against claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Service, breach of these Terms, uploaded content, or tax, accounting, or business decisions made using the Service.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees, create security or legal risk, misuse the Service, or if required by law.
16. Governing law
Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and, where applicable, the laws of the Emirate of Dubai. The courts of Dubai, UAE shall have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that may apply.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of TaxApp after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
